Roxy - 6 years old, spayed female
My name is Roxy, and I am looking for someone to love me.
When I first came to C.A.R.E. I was very scared. The only life I had ever known was on the end of a chain. Once I realized I was safe and loved I quickly came out of my shell.
My favorite thing is playing. I love toys! Squeaky toys, rope toys, balls, chew bones…. Any kind of toy. I can entertain myself all day with a toy that makes noise or is interactive.
I would prefer to be the only pet in a home so I can have all the love just for me. I have waited so long for a family, I just don't want to share! I am an extremely affectionate girl, and love to sit in laps and give kisses. I am very social, and would love someone that wants a traveling buddy or someone that is home a lot. I am very well behaved indoors and would even do well in an apartment with leash walks and lots of toys! If I land a home with a fenced yard I will need to be indoors when you are not with me. If left in a yard without someone to play with, I simply jump over the fence to find a friend (only chain link so far, I have yet to conquer a privacy fence). I would be a great movie night snuggler and I'd be up for for a jog or game of fetch the next morning!
