Meet MYRICK-DAWGS

Myrick is a 8 month old, 35 lb happy-go-lucky Hound/Mix. He walks well on a leash and will sit for a treat. Myrick is playful, friendly and outgoing. This handsome young dog would make a great family pet.

He was recently chosen for the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com.
The dogs selected for this program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people. Myrick will graduate on Aug. 23, 2017.

The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash.
They are up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Applications for this dog are available online at www.dawgsinprison.com .
