Meet Luke
Have you ever seen a blue merle Chihuahua? Nope, neither had we!
Luke is scheduled to arrive at Green Dogs Unleashed the first weekend in April. This poor boy lived with his family in Georgia, somehow got out of his kennel and made his way over to a nearby truck stop, where he caught a ride with a truck driver who was headed for Illinois.We are not sure what happened up there, but he found himself at the pound as a stray. He was fortunately micro-chipped, so his family was contacted and they made arrangements through Deaf Dogs Rock, for Green Dogs Unleashed to rescue him and bring him to Virginia to find a new furever home.
We have not met him yet, so we know nothing about him except that he is is just about 1 year old, he is DEAF, he craves attention (understandably so) and he needs a new home that will work with him to learn hand signals and give him all the love he deserves.
