LIZA AND BETH ARE A BONDED PAIR. THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR YEARS AND WILL NOT BE SEPARATED. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO ADOPT ONLY ONE OF THEM. THIS INFORMED DECISION WAS MADE WITH THE BEST INTEREST OF BOTH OF THEM IN MIND.
Liza and Beth are the sweetest girls the Rescue has ever had. They might not be bio sisters, but at the least are soul sisters. They have been together for years and are a bonded pair. They were adopted through this Rescue in 2011 to a lady who loved them immensely. Unfortunately she passed away suddenly and the girls found themselves back in Rescue.
Liza is healthy for her age of 12. Beth is around 15 and uses eye drops daily with another medication for her urinary issues. The eye drops cost approximately $50 per month and will need to be ordered from a compounding pharmacy. Even taking the medication, Beth is incontinent. Both of them are showing rear end weakness and sometimes need to be carried. Beth has recently been diagnosed with cancer after a lesion opened on her shoulder. She will need to be closely monitored for a reoccurrence.They both get along with other dogs but prefer to hang out together. Beth scoots on her bottom until she can get traction and stand. Then she is good to go! They are both cuddly and need a forever home together. The adoption fee is $200 for both.
