Meet Stanley

Hello, my name is Stanley! I am approximately 2 years old. I was brought back to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me because I needed more exercise than they anticipated (a long walk at least once daily).

I am a large, loving, active boy. I was around visiting kids (ages 8-17) and don't seem to be bothered by other dogs. I am not a fan of cats. I like to chase small animals so would not be good with a home with small animals or poultry. I don't like loud noises, such as fireworks. I spent the majority of my life so far tied up outside, and am looking to be an indoor/outdoor dog now. I am a little nervous, and would enjoy a home that is more quiet in nature.

Staff takes applications for all the dogs here to find us homes that suit our individual needs. If you're interested in adopting me, please email the shelter and ask for an application for me. You can apply on our website too - hsjcwa.org. I am up to date on my rabies and DAPP vaccines, and micro-chipped too. My adoption fee is $120 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County).
