Meet Buddy, one of our new rescue arrivals! This handsome 5 year old Poodle mix fellow is eager to start the search for his forever home in the Seattle area. Buddy arrived at our rescue in pretty rough shape, with overgrown and matted hair that had been neglected for a very long time. Now that Buddy is freshly bathed, shaved, and vetted, he is feeling super and can’t wait to share his life with a very lucky person (or people)! Buddy doesn’t take long to warm up, and within moments you can expect a very attentive cuddler who will lean against you or ask politely to be held. When Buddy isn’t snuggling up to a special someone, he can be found romping with his doggy pals in our playroom, where he takes social cues and verbal correction beautifully! Speaking of beautiful, did you know that Buddy is beautiful on leash when he’s walked? This kissy, treat-motivated guy can be a bit head shy when it comes to affection, though he does eat it up – along with all the treats he can fit in his mouth! Buddy would prefer a home with respectful children 12 years and up, and would be a great walking buddy, cuddle buddy, or best buddy for anyone willing to take a chance on him!
