Our weekend with Kron and Sphinx.
Shelley and Steve fostered Sphnyx and Kron this weekend. Shelly says: They both enjoyed movie night and seemed content curled up at our feet. However, they both are a little worn out and tired of kennel life and took this opportunity to catch up on nap time. Nether are beggars, food or toy possessive and are quick and motivated to learn our habits. They both want to please and show love when they are not catching up on sleep. They are perfect for the person who does not want to go through the puppy faze or potty training and are looking for a fun fur-family.
Kron is such a nice gentleman that really needs a quite place. He is so calm, very human oriented and was happy in the back yard. We even had a few zoomy's when he felt comfortable with the situation. He isn't a big fan of being kenneled, but with a little coaxing, and a little help from Sphinx, he is starting to find comfort in his own quite spot. He knows sit, stay, can shake with both paws, and even gave some high fives.
Sphinx is very affectionate princess that still has a little fire in her step. We had a good time rolling around on the grass and playing fetch but occasionally she forgets to drop the ball. She is so excited when a human walks in the door and races to greet you with a toy. She just seems happy as long as she is around a human.
Kron is very sweet, polite and calm. He is 7 yrs old. He takes treats nicely and he is house broken. He gives wonderful kisses and loves to snuggle. He is thought to be protective of his sibling around other male dogs. He chases cats. He has lived with his female sibling his entire life and we are trying to adopt them out as a pair.
Sphnyx is 7 years old. She knows sit, stay, down. Sphynx came in with her brother Kron. They are very bonded having been together since puppy hood. We are trying to get them adopted as a pair. Both are leashed trained and know basic commands. They are calm and polite and take treats nicely.

Thank you to BBBR Volunteer Conor for taking Sphynx to training at Good Citizen today. Conor says:
You can totally tell Kron and Sphinx are siblings. They have the exact same mannerisms. Right out of the door of AV, Sphynx did pull a bit on her leash. 5 minutes of walking later and I had her attention and on a loose leash. If your face comes close to hers at all you will get kisses! She is calm, curious, and loving. We did pass a few other dogs while exiting all valley and Sphinx paid them no attention. She also did well with other dogs at training. Could use some work with focusing, but I got Sphinx to successfully sit, shake, and lay down. (Hot dogs were the key there). Overall Sphinx is adorable and has already made an imprint on me. Sphnyx is 7 years old. She knows sit, stay, down. Sphynx came in with her brother Kron. They are very bonded having been together since puppy hood. We are trying to get Kron and Sphynx adopted as a pair. They have always been together. Both are leashed trained and know basic commands. They are calm and polite and take treats nicely.
