BABY GIRL IS AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION

Baby Girl is available for adoption. She has attended training at Good Citizen Dog with Dog Trainer Lou and the BBBR Volunteers.
BABY GIRL is a precious and mature 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. SHE IS HOUSETRAINED! She gets along with other dogs, but will need A CAT FREE HOME. She walks nicely on a leash and seems to have a friendly interest in other dogs. She knows the sit and stay commands. SHE LOVES PEOPLE! SHE IS AFFECTIONATE AND WELL BEHAVED, AND LOVES TUMMY RUBS! She has a calm and gentle demeanor, yet is still active and energetic. She will then enjoy being indoors with her people and receiving those belly rubs! She is a little nervous in her new environment right now, but that is understandable and expected. Come in and meet this wonderful girl at the West Valley Humane Society located at 5801 Graye Ln in Caldwell.

BBBR Volunteer Susan took her to training at Good Citizen Dog and here is what she has to say: Baby Girl is truly special. She was the star if the class, She knows sit and down. She is extremely laid back. All four dogs today walked side by side with no incidents or growling or anything, just a gang of pitties out with their people. She is a leaner and she just wants to be close. She rides well, no fuss. Walks well on leash - no pulling. She would be great with someone not all that active because she would adjust. She did not react to the geese or to any other dogs. She let me cut her toenails with no fight or any stress. When we drove back to the shelter she rode shotgun, sitting up and sleeping. She was adorable.
The shelter staff and volunteers say: BABY GIRL is an 8 precious 8 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. SHE IS HOUSETRAINED! She will require a securely fenced yard so she can run and play safely. She will then enjoy being indoors with her people and receiving those belly rubs! She is a little nervous in her new environment right now, but that is understandable and expected.
