**We would love to talk to you about Hodges or any of our other available dogs but we first need everyone to go to our website and submit an adoption application.

Health: Hodges is up to date on his vaccinations. He is in good health for his age but his heart health will need to be monitored.

Hodges story: Hodges is a sweet 9 year old boy. He came from a puppy mill and lived in a crate most of his life. He is still discovering his new world and is learning how to be spoiled. He had some fear biting issues at first, but with love and patience he has learned that people are really nice.

My Ideal Home: Hodges would do well as a single dog or with other dogs or cats. He loves to be petted, but on his terms (usually for a few minutes, then he's ready to get down and sleep). He enjoys treats and chewies and has bursts of energy when he gets the zoomies with a toy. He enjoys time in his yard, but he does not enjoy going on walks. His favorite times of the day is dinner time and cuddle time. He would fit in well in a quiet household without small children.

Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.

If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help this dog, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/she finds a furever home.

JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on Petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
