Meet Rocco
Rocco is a 7 year old bichon mix who weighs 20 lbs (his ideal weight should be 15 lbs). He is a very happy boy who has the energy of a young dog and wants to play all day. His favorite toys are stuffed squeakers, although he loves all his toys. His happy place is snuggled up next to you, on you, under you- you name it! He also LOVES belly rubs. In fact, if nobody is around to rub his belly, he will slide himself on the rug or grass outside! He is a loyal companion who will follow you around everywhere.
Rocco is house trained and crate trained. He is a very smart boy who learn things quickly. In fact, he is so smart he will go into his cage when he knows he is in trouble! His foster family is working on getting him adjusted to walks on a leash.
Rocco would do best in a home where he can either be the only dog or with someone who is home with him and the other pups in the family. Since he is energetic, his ideal home would have space for him to run around and wear himself out. Although he is already house trained, he would thrive in a home where someone that can continue to teach him new things. Rocco would prefer a home without a cat. Overall, Rocco is an adorable ball of fluff that is grateful to be given a 2nd chance at this life, and he will be forever grateful to the one that ends up adopting and loving him!
Rocco is now a healthy boy who is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and micro-chipped. He is being fostered in Southern California (Garden Grove). Adoption applications are available at www.bichonrescuebrigade.org/adopt.
