need a little Senior love in your life? Meet Edith!! This incredibly sweet senior (10 yrs.) Pit Mix is about as lovable as they come. She LOVES to take walks, cuddle and just be by your side. She seems fine with cats and other dogs and is looking for a new forever home to spend all of her golden years.

Edith is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes. If you are interested in the beautiful girl, come by the shelter to fill out an application.


Adoption hours:
Saturday: 10-4
Sunday: 12-3
Monday and Friday: 12-4
Tuesday and Thursday: 12-4 and 6-8pm

Adoption fee is based on age:
Puppies 8 weeks to 6 months are $350
Dogs 7 months to 7 years are $275
Senior dogs over 8 years are $100
**They are spayed and neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested.

Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect and rewarding training experiences. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment. In addition, dogs adopted from the Manchester Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received their Rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as other necessary medical care such as flea treatment. All dogs are also heartworm tested. Some prudent care such as heartworm medication is not provided at the shelter and should be taken care of at the earliest convenience upon adoption.
