Meet Cricket
Requirements: Secure, fenced yard, no cats and preferably no dogs in the home or an older, low key dog
Our volunteers travel to complete meet and greets so we can only accept applications from Chatham Kent, Windsor, Sarnia, London and points within these boundaries.

Activity level - Medium
Favourite activities - Car rides, chasing her squeaky ball, hanging out with her people,
enjoying the sunshine by the patio doors
Gets along with other dogs? Older dogs, yes
Is okay with cats? No
Any medical issues? Cricket has a thyroid condition. She takes a pill twice a day in her food.
Cricket is a sweet little girl who has an adorable underbite which makes it look like she is always smiling. She enjoys attention from adults but is an independent pooch.......not a lap dog. A little cuddling or petting suits her but then she goes off to her dog bed. She has not spent time with children but could possibly try 12+ kids who are respectful of her age and her size.
She likes to be in the kitchen area watching food prep! Sometimes she stands on her hind legs to get a better look and wait for a scrap or two to fall in her direction! She loves to chase a squeaky ball but has not caught on to retrieving. Cricket loves the outdoors and enjoys a fenced yard where she is able to sniff and explore her environment.
When no one is home,Cricket is given free run of her foster home. She is very respectful and does not have accidents as she is outside trained as well as peepad trained. She enjoys car rides and is content to be held by a passenger.
She gets along well with the resident dogs. She can be bossy but quickly behaves when corrected. Cricket could be with another older dog but no pups for this mature lady.
