Meet Westcott
Westcott is a handsome, silky black cat. He was originally found at a feral feeding station and thus has a distinctive ear tip. But, he is not feral. He has a sweet, mild mannered personality. After being rescued, he was adopted out through MEOW, but was returned after a couple months because the resident cat would not accept him. Westcott is not an “in your face” kind of cat, but he adores being petted and scratched and will reward your attention with purrs, head bumps, a bit of drooling and little grunts of satisfaction.
His foster mom says he’s an affectionate, quiet boy who loved food and being brushed. He has lived with a gentle dog and did OK. He gets along with other cats and should be a good buddy for a cat looking for a companion. He’s playful and especially likes to bat at toys.
Westcott tested positive for FIV. Please see our website at http://meowcatrescue.org/resources/articles/112/feline-immmunodeficiency-virus-fiv/index.html for information on FIV.
Westcott was assessed as a Private Investigator in our Meet Your Match Feline-ality program. Private Investigators like to work undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you are under surveillance. They can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with their investigation. If you need a cat that knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, consider a Private Investigator to take your case!
