Hi, my name is Rocco! I am a young boy, approximately 1-1.5 years old. I arrived here as a stray.

I'm a friendly, excited boy. I like to go on walks here at the shelter. I'm very smart and, though I haven't had a lot of training, I learn quickly. I can be nervous with strangers initially and am looking for a home with no children under 5. I'd do best in a cat-free household. I'm hoping to find dog experienced people who will like to take me on walks or even runs. Keeping active is important for a young, excitable boy like me.

I was only very recently neutered, and I'm still marking in my kennel. This may subside as my testosterone disappears, but I also just may need work on housetraining (frequent trips outside and heavy praise when I "go" in a good area).

My adoption fee is $120 (+ $20 county dog license if residing within Jefferson County). I am up to date on my rabies and DAPP vaccines and micro-chipped too.
