Ernest Domestic Medium Hair & Tabby Mix Waller, TX

Handsome is as handsome does! Ernest is stocked not only with good looks, but also with a gentle heart and an affectionate nature. He had a bit of a rough start growing up in a flea infested home with too many other cats, but now at 10-12 months old and in much better care, Ernest's amazing personality has emerged.

Easy on the eyes and soft to the touch, Ernest is quick to greet his person at the door and ready to snuggle up for a nap or some tv chill time. He's a quiet soul, not demanding or vocal, but when it's mealtime, he has the sweetest mew of anticipation. A bonus with Ernest is the extra toe he has on each of his four paws. Extra-toed (polydactyl cats) are known as Hemingway cats, hence his name.

Ernest is neutered, current on vaccines, and is negative for FIV/FeLV. He has also been dewormed, de-flead, and microchipped. He is in foster with 3 siblings and would be great as a paired adoption with any of them, or as a companion to a resident feline. Ernest has yet to meet a cat that he can't befriend (not the least bit alpha). He's also dog-friendly, as there was one in his former home.
