Zane Grey Pit Bull Terrier Chicago, IL

Zane is in a foster home, please fill out an application and we can then coordinate an intro with his foster family!

At about 7 months old, Zane has a ton of potential and is just about as handsome as a dog can be. However he did miss out on some early socialization so is initially barky when greeting new people or dog. He has been working with our trainer and is a smartie pants who has made great progress so he'll ultimately be a great addition to a loving home but does need some initial support. With his foster family, Zane is snuggly and full of puppy energy. He loves to play tug with us but is also quite skilled at entertaining himself. He loves to lay on his back and toss his rope up in the air. Total goofball! He is still a puppy and had some accidents the first day but we put him on a frequent potty break schedule and he is doing really well. He definitely enjoys all the praise he gets for going outside!

He is also working on learning what is a dog toy and what is a sneaker. He is not destructive but will pick up pretty much anything! He's gentle when he plays, sleeps through the night and doesn't mind going in his crate. Zane is a great dude who deserves a loving forever home.
