Logan Shih Tzu Chatham, ON

Requirements: Fully enclosed fenced yard, applicant living in Windsor or Chatham Kent areas, prefers being the only dog in the home

Logan is a sweet Shih Tzu who is a young, playful 4 years old and weighs 18 lbs. He is friendly with both adults and children. Given the opportunity, he will sleep cuddled as close as he can to his person.

This boy loves to run! He enjoys doing laps around the fenced yard. He also loves chewing on his stuffed toys or playing fetch with his person. He likes walks to explore new smells and sounds. Logan has a mind of his own and when he is having fun outside, it is difficult to convince him it is time to come in. Logan likes car rides and finds them an adventure. He does bark at strangers who enter his home but once they acknowledge him, he quiets down and looks for ear scratches. Logan is house trained and well behaved. He clearly dislikes being groomed and for now receives some sedation before getting clipped.

Logan will tolerate other dogs for short periods of time. For this reason he must be the only permanent dog in the home. He prefers keeping his people more to himself than sharing them. He also likes cats and will bark to get them to play with him.
