Posey is such a quirky sweetheart and has blossomed so much since coming to us! She walks well on her leash and she has learned sit, paw, down, come (most of the time!) and she's working on stay. She has a hilarious and endearing personality. She loves going on hikes, walking around with hilariously large sticks, peanut better in her kong, belly rubs, her squeaky lamb and most of all, other dogs! She could play all day with some pup friends, and really thrives when shes around other dogs. She walks better, has better manners, etc- she really falls in line with other dogs.

Posey may be scared of various things such as new people especially out on the street, loud noises, and stairs, but she warms up after a little while. She is nearly housebroken, but has trouble holding it, especially when excited. She is also mouthy when playing and can be nippy at ankles, but she's made some progress on that too and is a fan of the kids she has met!

Her foster mom reports that she has some "communication issues" in that she growls when excited and it sounds offputting but she is genuinely happy. Posey is now vaccinated and heartworm tested and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
