Jessa Retriever & Shepherd Mix Minneapolis, MN

Hi everyone, I am Jessa! I have the cutest ears and look really cute when I do head tilts when my foster parents ask me "who's a pretty girl?".. I think they are talking about me! They are always giving me compliments on my cute curly tail so I like to wag it for them lots! I am a shy girl but I am very calm and sweet as can be! When my foster parents first came to get me, I was very shy, but every day they tell me how good I am doing and how sweet I am! I am still shy but every day I come out of my shell a little bit more. My foster parents have a big fenced yard where I can walk and hop and play as fast or slow as I want. I have two hound foster brothers who are a little too rambunctious for me so far, but I enjoy watching them and I am learning to join in on the fun! I prefer to follow my foster mom or dad around the yard and stick close to them. I like to sleep in my own doggie bed in my foster parents room, or sometimes I have a sleepover party in the living room where my foster brothers sleep! I travel well in the car. I am still getting used to the MN cold, so I don't always like to go outside, but I absolutely will go out to potty! I love to eat my food and am learning that treats are yummy! I do know how to sit like a pretty girl and get treats for it! I am working on going new places, walking on a leash and crate training. One more thing - I love to snuggle. Will you come and meet me?

Jessa is estimated to be 1-2 years old and 38 lbs.Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
