Junior German Shepherd Dog Cromwell, MN

Junior is about 1 yr old. Neutered, UTD on shots/rabies, micro chipped and house trained. He was surrendered to us for being very reactive. Spent his first 7 months locked in a basement with no exposure to anything. A rescue saved him and adopted him out but he became so reactive that he was just too much for his adopter. He would explode at anything that moved, bikes, strollers, skate boarders, you name it.

He came to us last August and has gone through a lot of rehab and training. He is a very sweet dog, loves to play fetch and play with the other dogs. Has a good amount of energy but is not over the top like some GSD's. He is doing much better with his reactivity and feel he is ready to be adopted by an experienced GSD person. This boy needs leadership and structure! GSD savvy people only please. Junior needs daily exercise and structure. He is great off leash on the farm, but does tend to want to chase the horses. He is very playful and tends to be on the rough side with his play and needs another dog that can off set this. (if there's another dog in the home) He is very respectful of our other male GSD who is an alpha dog. Junior is very immature and still has a lot of learning to do. Very lanky boy and eats more than any other dog here. He is around 65lbs. Very loyal and loves being with his person. Does well in the house and likes to cuddle.

NO small children in the home for this guy. Older teenage kids should be ok. Will be very particular about where Junior goes. He needs someone who will give him structure on a daily basis. Prefer a country home for him.
