Arrival Story: Luna (and Max) were both destined to be a breeding pair, but they proved to be too much for their owner who surrendered them to a nice man who promised to find them loving homes. Initially, Luna and Max were obese from a diet of cheap dog food and table scraps and they had skin infections with missing fur from long-term flea infestation. Today, both Luna and Max were treated, are now on a quality diet and spayed/neutered. They are ready for the next step in their journey to an awesome forever home!

Approximate Age/Weight: 3 years / 49 lbs.

Personality: Beautiful Luna’s early life was not full of positive experiences but she has embraced the goof life in her foster home! Like her best pal, Max, she plays a bit rough.

Luna usually walks well on leash, but she sometimes decides to play tug of war and is not easily dissuaded. She also has a tendency to chase her tail when excited, which can make it challenging to simply sit down and pet her. This behavior can be minimized with ample exercise, distraction, and further training.

Luna likes Max, but is not a fan of other dogs. She loves humans and prefers to have you all to herself! She's always up for a belly rub!!

Luna is good at the vet’s office. Yay, Luna! She should be crated in the car for safety. She obviously didn’t have a lot of experience as a young dog riding in a car.

Bull terriers are energetic, strong willed and require a structured home environment with consistent mental and physical stimulation. Luna would thrive with an interactive pet parent.

Forever Home: Luna is a lively girl who would do well as an only dog or live with best pal, Max. A fenced yard isn’t required as long as she gets regular walks and playtime. No invisible fence for Luna, please. Experience with the bull terrier breed preferred.
