Arrival Story: Max (and Luna) were both destined to be a breeding pair but proved to be too much for their owner who surrendered them to a nice man who promised to find them loving homes. Initially obese from a diet of cheap dog food and table scraps, they had skin infections with missing fur from long term flea infestation. Today, both Max and Luna were treated and on a quality diet and spayed/neutered. They are ready for the next step in their journey to an awesome forever home!
Approximate Age/Weight: 4 years / 52 lbs.
Personality: While Max’s early life was not full of positive experiences he has embraced playing and is excellent at fetch! He loves to roughhouse and can be a bit mouthy when playing. He is good on leash for walks. Max lived with Luna and that is the only dog he is interested in being friends with. Max prefers the company of humans instead. And, he loves a good belly rub!
Max is good at the vet’s office and a bit of a wild child in the car so he should be crated for safety. Bull terriers are energetic and strong willed and require a structured home environment with consistent mental and physical stimulation (games, activities, training, etc). Max would thrive with an interactive pet parent.
Forever Home: Max is a lively boy who would do well as an only dog, or live with best pal, Luna. A fenced yard isn’t required as long as Max gets regular walks and playtime. No invisible fence for Max, please. Experience with the bull terrier breed preferred.

ADOPTION INFO:
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. We generally have two adoption events per month. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Arrangements can be made to meet a dog outside of Saturday adoption events after an application is submitted and approved.
Our adoption process includes an application and in-home meet-n-greet with the dog.
-Adult Dog Adoption Fee - $225
-Small Breed Adoption Fee - $275
-Senior Dog Adoption Fee - $125
-Pup Adoption Fee - $250 plus $50 spay/neuter deposit refunded upon proof of surgery by 6 mos.
