So, hello again everyone. It's been a while. I am a little chubby and fuzzy now! Pretty soon I think I will need a haircut! When K9 Angels saved me, I was very skinny - so skinny they could not tell I was pregnant! My three puppies born Feb 01 were a big surprise. My foster mom gave us all a hom e while I took good care of my puppies. My puppies are now in great homes, and so then it was time for K9 Angels to take me to our vet for spay and do a little eye surgery and now I am on the road to being very healthy and happy! I'm not sure of my age, but my foster mom thinks I am very young because I play and behave like a puppy myself! I really love walks and will stand at the door to let my foster mom know that I think it is TIME FOR A WALK! I play and chase with other dogs and I just ignore cats. I don't chase them at all. I am a little possessive and sometimes have a dominant personality. So I think I would want to be the boss in my new home if there was another dog there. I want to be close by my foster mom and sleep almost right on top of her feet when she is sitting down. I am very loving and sweet with all people. I run to all people I see! I am house trained and now that my puppies have been adopted, I sleep in the same room with my foster mom in a crate close to her or sometimes right on the bed. I am very quiet and good at night. Because I am so young I am active! My foster mom always comes home at noon to let us all out and to play, sometimes even a quick walk - that is a real treat for the noon hour. I am looking for a wonderful forever home!

PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/adoption_process_k-9_angels_rescue.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.

NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
