Meet Bale
Bale was fearful when he first arrived at our shelter but now he is warming up and showing his true personality to be friendly and very companionable. He knows commands like Sit and Down. He greeted and was very amicable with a group of junior high kids while we were taking photos. Check out his video to see what a great guy Bale is!
Come see Bale at the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH. The shelter is open Tues. through Sat. from noon to 4 p.m., plus 6 - 8pm on Thursday. He is current on vaccinations and will be neutered before leaving the shelter. All of these vet costs are included in the $80 adoption fee!
Pits:
Residents of the City of Euclid – City ordinance 505.37 entitled “Dangerous and Potentially Dangerous Dogs” defines all dogs identified as “pit bull” types (American pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire bull terrier) as potentially dangerous dogs. To own these breeds in the city of Euclid, you are required to comply with the regulations under this ordinance, which are: dog is microchipped, “Dangerous Dog” signs on display at the home, fenced-in yard 6 ft high, dog is muzzled and leashed when off premises, and home liability insurance of $100,000.
The pit bulls’ biggest fight isn’t fighting each other – it’s fighting against the stereotypes and media hype that continue to give these lovers a bad rap. If you decide to own a “pit bull” please do your part to promote a positive breed image by training and raising your dog with love and kindness.
