Health: Although he could stand to lose a few pounds, Thomas Winston has a chronic lung condition that will require his adoptive family to be attuned to his breathing, especially during changes in weather; he is otherwise healthy and in good shape for his age. He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and recently had a dental which resulted in him losing four teeth.

Temperament: Thomas Winston is a very relaxed and happy dog and likes to be with his foster mother and follows her from room to room as she carries out her housework, etc. Since there are a few restaurants in their town that allow dogs in their outdoor seating areas, Thomas Winston has even been on a few dinner outings with his foster family, always presenting himself as calm and friendly. He has been a real joy to his foster mom; rarely making any noise, with the three times he saw his reflection in the door window at night and one time when he was wanting to play being the only times she has heard him make any noticeable sound.

My Ideal Home: Thomas Winston would be perfect as someone’s sole companion. So far Thomas Winston has not quite figured out what the indoor pee pads are and instead prefers to go outside to “do his business”, so he would love to have a home where someone can let him out several times a day.
