Dori Jack Russell Terrier & Schipperke Mix Cincinnati, OH

Tiny Dori (about 13 lbs) came to STAF after she was brought to one of our county shelter partners. Dori had been hanging around a woman’s house for a couple of days. The woman assumed that Dori was lost and brought her to the shelter. Sadly no one was looking for Dori and she was never claimed. We are so glad to have Dori at STAF and to be part of “Team Dori”, helping this little-bumpkin’ find her home of a lifetime.

Dori looks to be a Chihuahua-Terrier mix and is very sweet, cuddly and quiet. She loves meeting new people, including our vets:o). At her first vet visit before coming to STAF, our vet team told us that “Dori did great and was so friendly with everyone she met!” Trust us when we say that dogs-loving-veterinarians is not always the case:).

Dori is wonderful on walks and is just as happy to be held by the volunteers. One very lucky home will be blessed with Dori’s easy-going, low key and over the top sweet love of life.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
