Thelma Pit Bull Terrier Mix Buffalo, NY

Thelma is an approximately 3-4 year old bully breed mix who was found running as a stray with another female dog (our Louise, also looking for a home). Thelma is built heftily, with a large frame and wide head. Despite her gruff exterior, she is actually a very soft and gentle girl. Thelma is on the shy side, so she takes a minute to earn your trust. Once she has it, you've made a wonderful and loving friend for life. Thelma likes to be close to her people and has delicate little kisses she gives to her friends. We don't think she will be a super active dog when she settles into her new home, and may prefer to lounge in the living room by a warm fire or comfy couch. Thelma is still learning to walk on a leash, and is very timid on crowded streets. She pancakes to the ground and comes to a halt when she is nervous. She does however walk great with other dogs present to follow. We think it might help her to have another canine friend in the house to teach her all about the good life of being a cherished family pet. Come meet this sweety pie ASAP!


The adoption fee is generally around 180 dollars including spay surgery, vaccinations, micro chips, bag of starter food and first vet visit.
