Coco Chihuahua Chatham, ON

NOTE: Volunteers travel to the homes of applicants so we can only accept applications from London, Chatham Kent, Sarnia, Windsor and points within those boundaries.

Requirement: secure, fenced yard, no young children, another small dog in the home as a companion

Coco is a tiny 6 lb. girl who has been surrendered by a breeder of Chihuahuas. Her foster mom says she is a little sweetheart! She has a smooth, shiny, chocolate coloured coat and is 8 years old.

Coco comes to her foster mom for affection and to be held but for now, she avoids the husband as she may not be used to men. She enjoys snuggling under a blanket and is happy sleeping in her crate at night. She shadows her person in the house. Coco is too fragile for children and is afraid of little ones.

She loves to run and play with the small dogs in her foster home and is getting better with the cat. This girl is fast! She easily goes up and down stairs on her own and could possibly be a door dasher.

What does Coco need to be safe and happy? A secure, fenced yard, another little dog as a playmate and a patient, loving adult (with a female in the home) who will continue her training.

In return, you will be given lots of affection and companionship by a grateful girl whose breeding days are now over!
