Meet Carl

If you ask his foster family (or really anyone that has ever met Carl), this little guy is basically the perfect package. I mean obviously he's small and adorable, but here's some elaboration on just how great he is:

– He does NOT act like he's 10 years old. He follows you around the house/office all day (but not in an annoying way). He's calm but not lazy.
– He doesn't play with toys. He's good with other dogs that aren't too playful/in his face; therefore he's great with his foster sister as they're both way more into cuddling than playing...and he's REALLY into cuddling.
– He's great with cats!
– He'll thrive most in a family without small children just due to his small stature and fact that he bonds quickly with adults. He can live with older kiddos though and is just fine greeting people of all ages on walks.
– Again, he LOVES to cuddle and be held like a baby. You can seriously do anything to this dog and he doesn't blink an eye (hence the Carl burrito)
– He was marking in the house at first but hasn't had an accident in a while! He goes potty on walks and knows that when I let him out back, to do his business right away and come back in.
– I leave him out of the crate when I'm gone for short periods of time and I've never come home to an accident or anything destroyed. He's so well behaved, it's insane.
– Loves baths!
– Loves belly rubs, any being touched or pet in any way.
– He knows sit, down, and I'm pretty sure shake (we're working on that one now)
– He's very confident. Not shy or skittish at all. Thunder, fireworks, etc doesn't phase him.
– He's alright in his crate. He hasn't had to be in it much but I have a feeling that he calms down after a little while
– He's not a barker (!!!!!)

Like we said, pretty great little dude. Carl is now vaccinated, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. He's also scheduled to have a dental with extractions and will then be 100% good to go! He's about 10 years old and Carl's adoption fee is $150. If interested, you can access our adoption survey here: http://www.onetail.org/adoption/apply/
