Meet DEENA

What a magnificent animal Deena is. She came into the shelter after living feral for at least 6-7 months. She came to us very distrusting of humans but never aggressive. We have worked with her to gain her trust and now she looks forward to seeing us. We have someone who has worked with her on a leash and at first she would just drop to the ground, now she begs to go and loves going off premises to explore new smells, etc. She does very well, staying close to her handler. Deena is now spayed, current on vaccines & heart worm negative. She is very smart, she picks up things quickly. She loves other dogs but is a bit rough so we would recommend a male of similar size. She still flinches at your touch but that is improving too. She is not only beautiful, she will make a great pet.
