Monkey Mastiff Mix Houston, TX

Hi my name is Monkey! I am a blue cane cross mastiff mix. I'm estimated to be around 7 months old. I didn’t have a very nice life before K-9 angels saved me. However, I am on the mend and super grateful for my new life! My foster mommy says I’m pretty much an angel. I sleep through the night on my bed beside her, I don’t have accidents in the house and I play very gentle with my senior shitzu foster brother. I am calm and friendly when I meet new people...big men, little kids, I love every one! I am definitely a lover. I want to be near my mom as much as possible… even sitting on her feet while she makes dinner. Some of my favorite new things include chewing on bones (I let my tiny big brother steal them if he wants) slow long walks and big dinners! Did I mention I walk like a dream on my leash. My foster moms favorite things about me is my cute underbite, my green eyes, the way I do backwards hops when I get excited and the way she feels proud when I meet new people like a gentleman. I also LOVE water. I don't care if it's bathtime, hot tub, or the hose, I'm all in! Consider making me a part of your family, I’m going to make the best family dog ever!





PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/adoption_process_k-9_angels_rescue.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.

NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
