Pru Labrador Retriever Mix Houston, TX

Well hello there! My name is Pru and I'm one of foster mom's 6 fuzzy nuggets! Mom rescued us from the shelter when we were just tiny little pups. She bottle fed us for weeks until we were big and strong and now we're ready to find our forever homes! When foster mom first took us home we had horrible skin issues, worms in our tummies, and we even had maggots on us! But that's all behind us now and we're happy, healthy nuggets now!

We love to play outside in the dirt with our big sister (she's 60 pounds and the coolest thing ever!) If you take us out every 2-3 hours we're very good at pooping outside. We're still too little to have potty training down 100% though. After play time we like to cuddle inside with mommy.

When I get really excited I hop and prance and it's always when I see my mommy! She says I give her the sweetest kisses! I love roughhousing with my brothers and sisters too!

Pru is a 9 week old, 8 pound lab mix.





PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/adoption_process_k-9_angels_rescue.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.

SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.

NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
