Meet Charcoal aka Coal! Charcoal is a handsome male, approximately 4 year-old Black Labrador Retriever/Flat Coat Retriever weighing 60 lbs. He is a charming young man, with a gentle spirit and submissive temperament. Charcoal walks well on leash, rides well in the car, is crate-trained and seems to be housebroken. He is good with cats and wants to play and possibly snuggle with them. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play. Charcoal would flourish best with other submissive dogs and watched closely with dominant dogs as he will allow them to walk all over him. Charcoal seems to have had a hard life previous to rescue and needs time to gain his peoples trust; once he trusts you he will be your shadow and best friend. Please ask about Charcoal if you have room in your heart and family for a loyal companion and forever friend.
