Meet Jeff-DAWGS
Meet Jeff, an adorable, 45 lb., 3 yr. old Foxhound boy.
He is a medium energy, friendly and playful dog who enjoys the company of other dogs. He is also good with cats.
Jeff was recently chosen for the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com .
The dogs selected for this program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people.
They are available for adoption now and will go home with you after graduation on March 8.
Jeff is very smart and doing well with his training. You can watch him doing his sit, stand and down commands on the video.
The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash.
Jeff is up to date on all vaccines as well as spayed/neutered.
