Duke Husky & Australian Shepherd Mix Cincinnati, OH

Duke or “Smilin’ Duke”, as we like to call him at STAF, was dumped at a very high kill pound by an owner that per the pound “didn’t give a darn about him”. Well, we at STAF see Duke’s handsome face and know his wonderful and outgoing personality and are grateful to be helping Duke find a home that finally appreciates him and gives more than “a darn” about this special boy.

Duke is savoring all the love and attention he is receiving since arriving at STAF, and has settled in quite nicely.

We know that Duke is around a year old and we’re fairly sure he is a husky mix. He does great with other dogs and loves to play and romp with his canine buddies at STAF and at daycare. He adores all the STAF volunteers and always lets us know how appreciative he is by sharing that beautiful Duke smile.

Duke will make a wonderful, happy and positive addition to one very lucky family!

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
