Meet Hopkins
**Hopkins is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His tax-deductible adoption fee is $495 for non-local adopters, which covers his transport to his new family, a travel kennel, and health certificate. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.**
These eyes are the window to the soul of this adorable guy named Hopkins. Look at his wisdom, look at his experience, look at his knowledge. You can see it all through those beautiful brown eyes.
Hopkins found himself as a stray at the city animal control. He obviously had been on his own for a while, as his coat was knotted and dirty. He was skinny from no food and was very scared. Hopkins is amazing though, just look at this handsome boy now. He is ready to spend his life with a loving forever family that will love him as much as he loves them!
Hopkins is happy and LOVES to play with other dogs. He really loves to ride in the car and will hop right in! He walks well on a leash and is very interested in his surroundings while out and about. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly as he gently takes a treat from your hand. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch a movie or just follow you around the house.
Hopkins has arthritis and is currently on rimadyl and cosequin. He may require ongoing anti-inflammatory medication and needs a home that is mindful of his condition. He cannot do stairs.
