Chopper Poodle & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Merri is an approximately 4-year old female Poodle mix. She weighs around 10 lbs. Chopper is an approximately 2-year old male Yorkie/Poodle mix. He weighs around 15 lbs. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.

Merri and Chopper were owner surrendered last spring. They were terrified when we first got them. They had had very little socialization and had hardly ever left their home. Their previous owner moved out of the country and did not take them.
They have made a lot of progress in their foster home. They need a home where someone will be patient with them and let their sweet personalities come out in their own time. But, once they are comfortable with you, they are spunky and affectionate.

They both love to cuddle and Chopper is a playful guy! He loves his toys! Chopper needs some assistance with jumping on people. He is crate, leash, and house-trained.

Merri is the older of the two and is a sweetheart as well. She will need assistance with house-training as she was apparently never taught to go outdoors. If used correctly, a belly band may help the situation. She is crate and leash trained.
Merri and Chopper love older children and adults, but do NOT like to be handled roughly and are not fond of young children. They need a home without children under 10 years old.

These two have a lot of love to give and have adjusted just fine to a new situation and can do it again, it will just take love and time.

Both will require regular grooming!

They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 for both.
