Rhoda Black Labrador Retriever Elkton, MI

Dear sweet Rhoda was brought to the shelter by her extended family. Rhoda's life has been turned completely upside down. Everything was perfect for Rhoda. It was just her and he beloved owner. They were best friends. Rhoda didn't realize that there were some medical issues for her "Mom". She would be gone for her treatments, but she always came home to Rhoda. Then one day she didn't come home. Family members came, some Rhoda had not seen in awhile. Then they were gone, and Rhoda was brought to the shelter. The first day she was very quiet and stayed by herself. That has changed. Rhoda now has a group following of three little dogs that love her. They are good for her. They all run and play, chase each other and play keep away with the toys. Rhoda is very gentle with the little ones. She now has found that it is really fun to go out in the office and lay on the big dog bed, and get the attention of everybody.
Rhoda is spayed, up to date on her shots, totally house trained. Good with other dogs and even cats. Rhoda loves people of all ages, kids to adults. She is very gentle.Rhoda is not an outside dog. She wants to be a true member of the family, whether that means going for a quiet walk, a nice car ride, Or just sitting and watching TV and enjoying each others company. Rhoda is perfect.
