Meet Gidget
Gidget was a pregnant stray, who was found near a volunteer's home a couple of summers ago and was taken into foster care, before eventually arriving at our rescue. This 3 year old gave birth to 3 awesome little ones, all of whom have found wonderful forever homes, but she has not been so lucky in finding herself a home. Gidget is such a sweet heart and has recently found a new kitty friend in Gingersnap. This has really worked out well for the both of them, as they are each becoming more social with other kitties and humans alike.
Gidget really loves attention and most likely when she finds her forever home, she will be a lap-kitty. She is so beauty and she is quite a compact, chunky little kitty who doesn't mind dogs or cats and should do well in a multi-pet home.
Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
