On a beautiful farm, Forest was born April 18, 2016. He came to us with his brother, the last two of a litter. Their sisters quickly sold to the Amish community where they were born but, in their breeding-driven community, nobody wanted these sweet boys. Still very much a puppy, Forest is a sweet, cream, Standard Poodle puppy who is up to date on his vaccinations with a clear bill of health from the vet. Forest has BIG ambitions; already more than 40 pounds, the vet suspects he will grow to be a large boy. Forest, still being very much a puppy, needs a home ready to continue working with him on his housebreaking, crate training, and catching up on his socialization. Forest loves water, squeaky balls, and gnawing on his nylabone. His foster mom says he really should be named “Forest Happily” because this boy is happy about everything all the time (except cats: he's a bit terrified of them). Forest has loved every person and dog he has met.
Adoption fee is cost of neuter plus $250 with a $50 rebate offered with proof of completion of two dog obedience classes. Adoption process includes application, homevisit, interview, reference checks, contract to neuter, and post-adoption follow-ups.
