Meet Belle
Welcome Belle!
Oh my. What a little doll Belle is. So sweet, playful, happy and well behaved. She's just the whole package.
We named this little lady Belle because it means beautiful in French. And boy was she beautiful to us. You see, Miss Belle had the good fortune to wonder into the yard of one of our Southern volunteers. She was emaciated, with gums as white as snow, basically near death. She may not have lasted another day.
Our volunteer whisked her off to the vet for treatment and just look at her today. She is a healthy 26 pounds and about 8 months old.
We really are not sure of her parentage nor how big she will get. Her feet are not really that big, and her growth may have been stunted due to the lack of food and medical care. We would guess that she would be between 30 - 40 pounds, maybe.
Because Bell is just a puppy, her ideal family will have a stay at home parent or one that works part-time in order to allow the time for house and good dog training.
