Oh Franklin!! Tall, dark and handsome. What a face!! This mature (about 6 years old), brown eyed handsome 70 pound hunk was tied to a tree and abandoned - he was picked up by animal control and spent the next 6 months in a shelter. Franklin is the most laid back, lay at your feet in front of the big screen TV kinda guy. He's OK with calm kitties and other dogs with proper introduction. He's met little dogs and has made some great friends with them. He hasn't been around young children but so far, has not met a stranger. He loves long walks, is housebroken, has good house manners, sleeps in a crate but would much prefer being near you, and is a good watch dog. If you want a black lab mix that is super sweet, please come to Petco to meet Franklin.

Adopter for Franklin must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for Franklin is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clear Lake
Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. The adoption fee starts at $175. All
dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated,
