Meet JOJO
JOJO is a beautiful girl who was left in a yard unsocialized when the woman died and her husband is a trucker. He turned her into the shlter .Frightened and not knowing why her life had changed she was devastated. We let her decompress . Now she is walking beautifully on a leash and that is a huge accomplishment for her but it took 6 mos. .
My dog walker loves her and she would sit for hours, touches her hand when she stops. she is loving life. she doesn't get enough attention here and needs her own home with a fenced yard. THIS IS A MUST . JOJO is housetrained. we also have a pet door and she uses that. She is a very smart little lady . She has beautiful black silky fur and a flumed tail.
Jojo is the sweetest girl. Loves other dogs and likes to play but doesn't insist. She would do best with someone who is patient and has another dog her size 20 lbs since just learning people can love her. Once you meet her you will fall in love. Jojo is about 3 1/2 yrs old and spayed. had all vaccines and microchipped. No kids under 8. she needs someone home to teach her life is good.
no cats that i know of and older kids would be okay but she must have another dog in the home. She follows their lead. she is still shy but loves the dog walker and does so well. Would do well with someone home or retired. . She is a flight risk so they have to understand that and let her get to know you . .
She does bark to let you know someone is here. Does great with the groomer loves to sit on the back of the couch and observe life around her.

her adopter has to be local and spend time with her.
we tried adopting and that person took off the leash and she bolted for 4 days in the woods. i can't have her do that again. I need someone who understands .
she will bolt if she is scared and gets the chance. . best if she knows you. first. and we need someone who is careful .She feels safe here but doesn't get the time she needs or attention.
