Tabitha Bloodhound & Black and Tan Coonhound Mix Cincinnati, OH

When we learned through one of our rescue partners that her owners had surrendered Tabitha at a very high kill pound, we stepped in and were fortunate enough to bring Tabitha to STAF. Our rescue partner told us "Tabitha is a beautiful young girl that doesn't understand why her family abandoned her in the shelter. She's got an amazingly kind and loving demeanor, and those loving eyes of hers will capture your heart." We have to agree, her soulful eyes are beyond captivating.

Tabitha is gentle, loving and great on walks. She is joyful with everyone she meets and is so happy to be loved again. Tabitha has an inner calmness that is easy to be around and we know she will be a wonderful addition to a very lucky home.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
