Hazel--I'm an Adoption Center Dog! Chihuahua & Pomeranian Mix Chicago, IL

Hazel is such a sweet little nugget--a little shy at first but quickly warms up. She seems to bond quickly to those she lives with. She does well with other dogs (both small and big--she shares her home with a puggle and has meet high energy large dogs who she did just fine with too!

She's a bit spoiled in her foster home--enjoying her breakfast and dinner sitting on a big comfy chair and finding an area to lay in with the most pillows--but hey, after losing your home at the age of 7 she deserves it, eh?!
Hazel is not a fan of being crated but thankfully does just fine during the day left to her own devices so does not need to be crated. She's still perfecting her potty scheduled but definitely gets the concept and is improving daily. She does well walking on a leash and staying close to you.

Given the option, she will definitely want to sleep with you at night but will sleep at the end of the bed to protect you from any potential monsters. This little dumpling is about 7 years old, in great health, and now spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. She'll be a great match for most homes though would be extra happy if someone was home for her snuggle with a fair amount.
