Additional info: Tabitha was an owner surrender to the shelter because her family moved away. She was a little leery when she first came to us but is now settling down and becoming more and more comfortable around a variety of dogs and people. She can resource guard so we do not recommend her for a home with kids and she needs an experienced owner who can read doggie body language and will know not to get into her space and risk being snapped at when she wants to be left alone. She is a very accommodating dog, settling for crates and baths (which she doesn't like) without any fuss (although she loves being blow-dried!). She gets excited when she sees other dogs while out walking and she does tend to want to run after bicyclists and skateboarders but she settles herself down pretty quickly. Tabitha loves to give kisses, chase her tail and play with her toys. She'd make a great jogging partner. She is sweet, cuddly and loving and eager to explore. Because she has energy to burn she'd love a situation where someone was home much of the day and could give her frequent walks.
