Archery is a male, red miniature Poodle. Archery's estimated date of birth is August 2012. Archery and his two siblings were surrendered with five other poodles who went to another rescue. Archery's foster mom says about him: "Archery started out timid and unsure, but he's really started to come out of his shell! Once he warms up to someone, he becomes a cuddly teddy bear! Archery is a rather quiet dog who does not bark very often, and he would prefer a quieter environment without small children as they tend to scare him. Archery reacts in fear to quick movements and loud noises that startle him and to people he does not know. When these things happen, he prefers to hide and he needs a space such as a quiet crate to retreat to. He is also crate trained and enjoys spending time in his own space, as well as chilling out on the bed or couch. Archery is mostly house trained but is still having a few accidents. He's done well with all other dogs and cats and will likely do great in a home with other animals. Archery is such a special lovey who is definitely on the right path to becoming an amazing little lap dog!" Archery has a $150.00 adoption fee plus the cost of six months of heartworm prevention.
