Sammy Tabby Mt. Vernon, NY

Poor Sammy is doing better. She was happy in her old home until her owner brought home another cat. Sammy never adjusted and the owner chose the other new cat to keep.

Sammy shares her living quarters in our communal room with a dozen other cats now. She confines herself to one small shelf so she won't be near them. She needs to be the only cat in the household.

All the stress has made her very fearful but she is learning that people can be trusted and looks forward to getting served her food and treats and allowing the occasional pet. I think she would blossom in a quiet household with no anxiety about other cats around.
