Meet Butch
This sweet little scruff joined our organization after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Covered in fleas, heartworm positive, and rather skinny when he first joined us, Butch is now feeling like a million bucks in his foster home.
His foster mom reports he is a total love bug and though he takes a bit to warm up, when he does you'll be showered in cuddles and have a permanent shadow. He is good with other dogs, loves his daily walks, is great on a leash and sometimes even carries a toy with him the entire walk as he needs to make sure his toys get their exercise and fresh air too! He is working on commands such as sit and stay and getting better everyday. He is also housebroken. Because Butch is a timid fellow, he'd thrive in a more quiet adult household.
Butch is now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He heartworm treatment will be complete in a couple months but he can go to his adoptive home at any time and the rescue will continue to cover the cost of his treatment.
