Meet 16-409 "Griffin"
Griffin #16-409. Arrived 8/10/2016 at 2-3 years old
Griffin was a nervous guy the first week that he was at the shelter. Who could blame him, it's a crazy scary new environment, strange people, and a bunch of shots the minute he walked in the door. After we made that first bad impression though, Griffin fell into the routine of going for walks and spending time in the yards. Griffin has now really blossomed and he loves to run and play. Griffin is well versed in the sit command, and as you can see in the photo, he think that sit means also an automatic shake paw. Sometimes he gets a little full of himself and seems disconnected from his person, but it only takes a little redirection to orient him back. Griffin is a leaner, he likes to solicit your attention and do a full contact body lean at the same time. This red boy stands out in a sea of block head dogs, yet he hasn't yet gotten the chance to show how committed he can be to his potential adopter.
